Employment Opportunity - Summer Labourer

The Village of Silverton is seeking a Summer Labourer to assist the Public Works team and help keep our parks, streetscapes, facilities and public spaces safe, clean and well-maintained. This is a temporary, full-time position funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program.

Wage information: $20.00/hour, 35 hours per week, up to 12 weeks.

The successful candidate should be:
• Between the ages of 15-30
• Able to do physical work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, safety-minded, and able to follow instructions and work independently or with a small team
