REGISTER FOR EMERGENCY SUPPORT SERVICES
During an emergency, Emergency Support Services (ESS) may be available to provide short‑term help with basic needs such as food and shelter. Creating an ESS profile in advance can make it easier to access supports if you are evacuated. Use the Evacuee Registration & Assistance (ERA) tool and for more information, or to sign up as a volunteer in the North Slocan Region, please email Nicky at ESS1@newdenver.ca
To pre-register follow these steps:
- Download the BC Services Card app from the Apple or Google app stores.
- Open the BC Services Card app and follow the instructions.
- In the app, under "Services" locate "Evacuee Registration Assistance" and follow the login and registration instructions.

Visit the PreparedBC website for tools and resources to help you prepare for emergencies.
