Silverton's oldest building, the Fingland Cabin built in 1896, is located on the east side of Hwy 6, across from the Municipal Hall. The attached Blacksmith Shop is the site of blacksmith demonstrations during the annual Canada Day festivities.
Outdoor Mining Exhibits
Originally created by Frank Mills and the Silverton Historical Society, the Outdoor Mining Museum located on the lawn of the Silverton Gallery features historic mining equipment including ore carts, compressors, drills and tram towers salvaged from area mines.
Silverton Gallery
The Silverton Gallery is located at 408 4th Street, next to the Outdoor Mining Exhibits and the Municipal Hall.
Built in 1916 as a school, the Silverton Gallery has been an arts hub for the region since the late 1970s. It is currently operated by the Valhalla Fine Arts Society.
